Wittgenstein news

There is a new Nordic Wittgenstein Review forthcoming next month.

And there's a nice map of the Tractatus (plus some handy links) produced by David Stern and others at the University of Iowa.

UPDATE: And now this newly discovered manuscript too.

  1. ah just spoke to those folks the other day when they presented the map, wish they hadn't gone with that style of spatial/transport illustration (doesn't really fit the reading experience or the logic) but glad to see people moving beyond just working in set words.

    1. Yes, I don't know how much difference it makes as far as reading the thing goes. But it's good to see people trying different things.

  2. The Guardian article on the "newly" discovered manuscript is 5 years old but a full description and partial publication of its contents is here: http://wittgensteinrepository.org/agora-ontos/article/download/2167/2385

    3. Not a helpful answer but: not that I know of.

    4. Update for those who didn't see this on Facebook: it looks as though this 'new' material is coming out as a book, possibly edited by Ray Monk.
